Capturing Wild Places Worth Protecting

Nature Needs Protectors.

I grew up in the lush forests of Washington state, where my backyard felt like an endless wilderness. Entire days were spent exploring winding trails, river creeks, and towering trees—only returning home when the sun dipped below the horizon.

That deep connection to nature has never faded. Nothing brings me more peace than being fully immersed in the wild, discovering new places, and capturing the raw beauty of our national parks and forests. But these aren’t just breathtaking landscapes, they are sacred places that need protecting.

With increasing threats from logging, mining, and drilling, the call I feel to defend these lands has never been louder. My photography is more than just a way to document their beauty - it’s a call to action. Through my lens, I hope to inspire others to explore, appreciate, and stand up for the wild places that cannot protect themselves.

Together, we can defend and protect our public lands.

As of February 2025, a new executive order signed by the current administration has placed millions of acres of wild lands at risk—
threatened by clear-cutting, timber profits, mineral extraction, drilling, and unchecked development.

These landscapes are more than just resources—they are sacred, irreplaceable, and essential to the health of our planet.
Together, we can take a stand and protect our last wild places for future generations.

Here are some incredible nonprofit organizations working tirelessly
everyday to defend our forests, national parks, and public lands:
Save the Redwoods League
The Wilderness Society
Earth Justice
National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA)
Wildlands Network
